Rastriya
Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) has begun preparations for central convention
with new political model. The party also stated that it would change its name
and its working guideline.
"Party's
new name will kept in a manner which will reflect democracy based on Nepali
model," said Chairman Kamal Thapa amid a press conference organised at
party office on Wednesday.

The
convention slated for May 24-27 in Kathmandu will change party's name, future
guideline and statute , informed Chairman Thapa.
Around
2,200 representatives from all 75 districts and 300 observers will participate
in the convention .

It
has been learnt that RPP-N, which emerged as the fourth largest force in the
second Constituent Assembly election, has decided to change its name in its
effort to incorporate all supporters. For this, party has also formed a
political document writing committee under the leadership of party Chairman
Thapa.
Vice
Chairmen Rajib Parajuly and Dhawal Shumsher Rana, General Secretary Chandra
Bahadur Gurung, senior leader Keshar Bahadur Bista, among other experts, are in
the committee.
